Check the cut before the batch.

Our product exports SVG cutting files for one uppercase block-dot name style. It is intended for nominal SS10 rhinestones. We have not tested these files on a physical cutter or confirmed brushing and transfer performance. A software geometry check cannot establish that compatibility.

What is included—and supported

SVG format only, with millimetre dimensions and one compound path containing a weeding frame and circular holes. Choose 3.100, 3.300 or 3.429 mm hole diameter. All names use 4.5 mm centre spacing. Maximum stencil widths are 6, 8 and 10 inches; these are limits, not a promise that every name will fill the width.

Intended import workflows are Cricut Design Space on desktop and an SVG-capable Silhouette Studio edition. Silhouette Basic, DXF, STUDIO3, Brother FCM, laser cutters and mobile workflows are not supported in this pilot. We do not claim that any particular physical machine has passed a test.

Free calibration: 100 × 40 mm

  1. Download a free calibration SVG for a hole size you want to test.
  2. Import the SVG, then check that its outer frame is exactly 100 mm wide and 40 mm high. In inches, that is approximately 3.937 × 1.575.
  3. If it imports at another size, correct it to the stated dimensions with proportions locked. If both dimensions do not match, stop. Do not scale it to fit your mat.
  4. Keep it as a cutting operation. Do not flatten it into a Print Then Cut image. The rectangle and all thirty holes should appear as cut contours.
  5. Use scrap stencil material and your equipment/material supplier's settings. Check the cut frame with a ruler and brush in your actual stones. They should seat individually and release as your normal workflow requires.
  6. Only purchase using the same hole diameter after the calibration works. If none works, do not buy this batch.

Why there is more than one hole size

SS10 is a stone-size label, not a universal template-hole tolerance. The Rhinestone World describes 0.135 inch holes and older 0.130 inch files. Those are 3.429 mm and approximately 3.302 mm. The millimetre DXFs in Pemberton?s free test-grid and portrait samples contain 3.1 mm holes, with approximately 0.3 mm minimum edge gaps. Our 4.5 mm centre spacing leaves a larger gap: at least 1.071 mm at the largest offered hole diameter. These published settings explain our calibration choices; they are not evidence that our product has been physically tested.

Cricut's upload guide documents SVG import and preserving original SVG dimensions. Follow its desktop vector-image workflow. Cricut's unsupported-items guide explains restrictions on linked images and non-vector content; our cutting files contain neither.

Silhouette's import release notes describe as-is, centred and fit-to-cut-area SVG import modes, and SVG support in Designer Edition. Use original dimensions rather than fit-to-page, and confirm your installed edition supports SVG before purchase.
